<p>As well as the Plug-in Car Grant, the Government is providing funding for grants for electric vehicle chargepoints, including at people's homes and locations such as train station car parks and on the public sector estate. We have also established a favourable taxation system for company car tax and vehicle excise duty to help nudge more motorists towards these vehicles. There are also numerous local incentives such as congestion charge exemption in London and free parking.</p>
