answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/06/2020 answer text <p>As part of the recent update of the Department’s Road Safety Statement, published on 19 July 2019, we committed to ensuring motorcyclists have the necessary skills in order to stay safe on the road.</p><p> </p><p>The Department’s guidance issued on 12 May refers to “Private cars and other vehicles” as an alternative to using public transport and encourages the public to “consider all other forms of transport before using public transport”. Our surveys show that the majority of passengers (91%) think that any inconvenience caused by security screening is acceptable.
