<p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The UK already has one of the most comprehensive packages
of support in place to encourage the uptake of ultra low emission vehicles. This includes
grants towards the purchase price of the vehicle, and a home chargepoint, tax incentives,
and support for an ever increasing network of rapid chargepoints. We have just launched
a joint industry-Government communications campaign to dispel some of the myths around
these vehicles, and recently announced a further £500m of support for the period 2015-2020.
We currently plan to announce how this funding will be allocated in the spring.</p><p>
