answer text <p>The Department’s top priority for Northern Ireland at present is to work alongside the parties to secure the resumption of devolved government. The Secretary of State and I have been clear that discussions must focus on the establishment of a partnership Executive and addressing other outstanding issues, including the implementation of past agreements and addressing the legacy of the past.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, as we prepare for negotiations with the EU over the terms of the UK’s Exit, the department is working with the rest of Whitehall and with the Northern Ireland Executive to secure a deal that works for Northern Ireland and the whole of the UK.</p> more like this
