Public sector buyers must also publish annually on their payment performance.</p><p>The MoJ strongly encourages businesses to report poor payment practice and instances of late payment, including late payment through the supply chain, in public sector contracts to the Government Mystery Shopper service. Under this government, the most serious offenders are more likely to go to prison, and for longer, helping protect the public and keep communities safe.</p><p> </p><p>Our message is simple – if you commit a serious offence, you should expect to go to prison.
