answer text <p>Progress towards the Global Technical Strategy (GTS) country elimination milestone of eliminating malaria in at least ten countries is on track. In 2015, ten countries and areas reported fewer than 150 locally-acquired cases of malaria. A further nine countries reported between 150 and 1000 cases.
