This service is being provided by SeeAbility and is governed by the existing regulatory framework for primary eye care services in England. It is possible for an unlicensed doctor to work in a healthcare role that the law has not reserved either to licensed doctors or to another regulated profession (for example, as a note taker or in some types of teaching or research).
