answer text
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) regularly seeks feedback to consider where it might do more to support British citizens in particularly difficult circumstances. With this in mind, the former Foreign Secretary asked Dame Judith MacGregor to carry out a review of how the FCO handles complex consular cases. This was completed last year, and focused on policy rather than the detail of specific cases, although Dame Judith did meet a number of families to hear about their experience.
more like this

We call upon Hamas and other terrorist groups to permanently end their attacks against Israel. Indiscriminate attacks against civilians are unacceptable and unjustifiable. The perpetual cycle of violence does not serve anyone's interests, and must end. We urge all parties to adhere to the recent ceasefire arrangement.
more like this

The Foreign Secretary has not discussed these reports with Cabinet Colleagues, however we frequently raise our serious concerns about the situation in Xinjiang with the Chinese authorities and at the UN, and will continue to do so.
