The UK continues to call on the Governments of Israel and Egypt to ease movement and access restrictions into and out of Gaza. While we welcome progress made by Israel following the recommendations of the Children in Military Custody Report, we remain particularly concerned by reports of the continued heavy use of painful restraints and the high number of Palestinian children who are not informed of their legal rights, in contravention of Israel's own regulations.
