The UK has used its role as penholder at the UN Security Council to help push the Yemen peace process forward. In September 2019, the UK co-hosted a political event at the UN General Assembly to coordinate the international community's support for the UN-led peace process. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/01/2020 answer text <p>​In line with his responsibilities in the Justice and Security Act 2013, the Prime Minister carefully considered and approved the report, and is content that its publication would not prejudice the functions of those bodies that safeguard our national security.</p><p>We acknowledge the public's interest in the publication of the report; however the report itself is the property of the independent Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC). As such it is not for the Government to publish it; it is for the ISC to lay it before Parliament. Once a new Committee has been established, it will be up to them to choose when they wish to publish it. The team returned to the UK on 16 January having engaged closely with Australian counterparts.</p><p>Drawing on the team's findings we are working to establish what further UK support would be of most use to the Australian authorities, and ensure that any such contributions are appropriate to Australia's needs. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/01/2020 answer text <p>The strategic aim for the UK, and our international partners, remains as it has always been: to de-escalate tensions, to hold Iran to account for its nefarious activities, and to keep the diplomatic door open for the regime to negotiate a peaceful way forwards. As we have emphasised in the House in recent days, we are in close contact with all sides to encourage de-escalation and to support peace and stability.</p><p>The Prime Minister has spoken to President Trump, President Macron, Chancellor Merkel, Prime Minister Abdulmehdi of Iraq and President Rouhani of Iran to send a clear and consistent message on the need for de-escalation and to find a diplomatic way forward. We continue to raise this matter with international partners. The Foreign Secretary has been in constant contact with leaders and foreign ministers from across the globe and we have taken steps to increase the security of our personnel and interests in the region. The E3 (the UK, France and Germany) have jointly taken action to hold Iran to account for its systematic non-compliance with the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The Government published the Telecoms Supply Chain Review in July, which recommended the introduction of a new framework for telecoms security based on evidence and a hard-headed assessment of the risks. The Government has not yet made a final decision on individual high risk vendors and the additional controls that will be applied to them. The security of the United Kingdom's telecoms networks is of paramount importance and high-risk vendors never have been and never will be in our most sensitive networks.</p><p>The United States and United Kingdom are strong partners and allies. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2020 answer text <p>​The middle income countries covered by the Prosperity Fund's Global Trade Programme (GTP) were selected based on findings from qualitative and quantitative analysis, which included assessments on the potential benefits to poverty reduction through supporting their economic development, and their willingness and capacity of countries to engage with UK expertise. The GTP is currently focusing on interventions in Indonesia, Vietnam, Turkey, India, South Africa, Nigeria, Columbia, Mexico and Brazil; countries which account for a significant share of global economic activity: together they account for 26% of global GDP and 20% of global trade flows. Middle income countries are home to around two thirds of the world's poor, and therefore need to not only generate new investment, growth and jobs, but also need to ensure that economic growth resulting from trade is inclusive and genuinely helps to reduce poverty, support gender equality and women's economic empowerment.
