I met with him during the United Nations General Assembly in September and with a range of government contacts when I visited the DRC in April. We made clear that we have zero tolerance for any human rights abuses or violations of international humanitarian law. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>We believe the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA) remains the best way of preventing a nuclear-armed Iran and we are determined to see it maintained for as long as Iran complies with it. The deal is a critical agreement that makes the world a safer place and it is working; Iran remains constrained by the strict nuclear limits in the deal and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) retains unprecedented access to monitor and verify Iran's activities. IAEA reports continue to confirm that Iran is adhering to the nuclear limits in the JCPoA.</p><p>As set out in my Written Ministerial Statement to Parliament on Monday 5 November, we have been clear with the US about our determination to preserve the JCPoA, and the fact that this is driven by our national security interests. It is essential that both the Federal and State Governments in Nigeria address the drivers of conflict by working to develop solutions that meet the needs of all the communities affected. The UK and Nigeria have a security and defence partnership, signed during the Prime Minister's visit. We support the Nigerian authorities in improving security and in order to enable economic growth. Officials in Jakarta last met Tapol in Jakarta in March 2018 and are planning to meet them again in November. We urge these oversight bodies to carry out swift and thorough investigations into any such claims. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2018 answer text <p>The British Government regularly calls for credible elections to take place in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The Minister for Africa, Harriett Baldwin, met with Foreign Minister She Okitundu in September and encouraged the DRC Government to ensure elections go ahead. The Foreign Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, also met with Okitundu last month and highlighted the importance of allowing international election observers, in order to build transparency and trust in the electoral process. Since 2015, the UK has spent £6.8 million on increasing accountability and transparency around the elections. We have provided funding for national observation through the Justice and Peace Committee. The UK has funded a Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) report into the Electronic Voting Machines and the WFD provided a list of recommendations to CENI.
