answer text
On 28 May, we raised our serious concerns about the potential forcible transfer of the Bedouin in E1 and other parts of Area C and the Israeli Supreme Court’s ruling approving the demolition of the West Bank village Susiya with senior officials from the Israeli National Security Council. On 8 June, envoys from all 28 European Union Member States including the British Consul General to Jerusalem visited the Bedouin community at Susiya. The delegation’s visit was to emphasise their continuing support for the community and their opposition to demolitions in general.
more like this

answer text
Since 2011, we have advised British nationals against all travel to Yemen. Our travel advice has included information on the current situation in Yemen, as well as of the support that can be provided in neighbouring countries. We continue to work with international partners to resolve the current crisis in Yemen and bring political stability to the country. Given the current situation in Yemen, I have not discussed this issue with the Government of Yemen since the beginning of the recent crisis.
more like this

Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), and the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my hon. Friend the Member for Bournemouth East (Mr Ellwood), are both in regular contact with the Government of Saudi Arabia about the situation in Yemen, particularly to emphasise the importance of ensuring sustained humanitarian access and moving to a durable political solution. We work closely with Saudi Arabia across a range of shared foreign policy priorities and interests and Yemen is clearly a top priority for both countries. answer text
The UK is extremely concerned about the deteriorating situation in Yemen. We continue to believe that an inclusive political process is the best way to achieve long-term stability, avoid civil war, economic collapse and a humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen. We work through the UN, Friends of Yemen and other international organisations to support the political transition. The UK contributes core funding to the Office of Jamal Benomar, the UN Special Advisor to the Secretary General, who is leading the political negotiations. The UK is also providing financial support via the UN to the political transition, including the National Dialogue Conference and constitution drafting, and for the elections process.
more like this

answer text
We are aware of reports suggesting the presence of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)-affiliated groups in Yemen. We do not believe that this is indicative of an organised, structured or cohesive ISIL presence in Yemen. Also, it does not indicate operational linkages between al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and ISIL. AQAP has been a vocal critic of ISIL’s rise. It recently issued a public statement condemning ISIL’s ‘Caliphate’ in Syria and Iraq, as well as criticising its use of brutal tactics. The civil war in Syria has attracted some Yemeni foreign fighters who may subsequently return to the region. We do not believe that this is indicative of ISIL presence in Yemen.
more like this
