I welcome the completion of the parliamentary process in Macedonia which amends the constitution in line with the Agreement. I also welcome Greek parliamentary ratification of the Agreement. Implementation of the deal will improve stability and prosperity in the region. The UK has raised the cases at a senior level with the Government of Bahrain. We continue to encourage those with concerns about treatment in detention to report these to the relevant human rights oversight bodies. We also continue to encourage these bodies to carry out swift and thorough investigations into any such allegations.
