Coalition and Government of Yemen military gains must now be used to drive forward the political process. We welcome the reports of calming along the Saudi/Yemen border and prisoner releases. A political solution is the best way to bring long-term stability to Yemen and end the conflict. This duty of care extends to our contractors and suppliers and whilst we are keen to be as transparent as possible we do not wish to jeopardise the lives and security of people or companies we work with. Friend the Member for Witney (Mr Cameron), when he visits the UK in April. This will be President Obama’s fifth official visit to the UK. The US remains our most important bilateral ally.
