answer text
The Government remains extremely concerned about the welfare of British-Iranian dual nationals detained in Iran, including Nazanin Zaghari-Radcliffe. Iran does not recognise dual nationality and therefore does not permit access to British-Iranian detainees.

We continue to urge the Iranian Government to release immediately all UK dual nationals arbitrarily detained in Iran, and enable them to return to their families in the UK.

We continue to raise their cases at the most senior levels in Iran, discussing them at every opportunity with our Iranian counterparts. Our Ambassador in Tehran consistently raises all of our dual national detainees cases with the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our Embassy in Tehran continues to request consular access to our detained dual nationals, and we have been supporting their families in the UK with regular meetings and calls.
more like this

answer text
The permanent release of all arbitrarily detained dual nationals in Iran and their return to their families in the UK remains our top priority. While the further extension of Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe's temporary release is a welcome step, we continue to urge the Iranian Government to make it permanent so she can return to her family in the UK and will continue to raise this at the highest levels with Iran. The Foreign Secretary raised this with Foreign Minister Zarif on 16 March and I raised this with the Iranian Ambassador on 26 March. Our Ambassador in Tehran consistently raises all of our dual national detainees with the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
more like this

We continue to raise all our dual nationals detained in Iran with the Iranian Government at every opportunity, and make decisions in line with what we believe will produce the best outcomes in their cases.
