answer text
The UK does not recognise the Maduro regime. The UK remains alarmed at the deteriorating human rights situation in Venezuela. Venezuela has a duty to uphold high standards of human rights, the more so as a member of the Human Rights Council, and to cooperate with the Council and its mechanisms. The UK will continue to support the work of the UN Human Rights Council's Independent International Fact-Finding Mission in Venezuela, and is committed to supporting a broad human rights agenda in the country. On 31 August, the Maduro regime announced that it had pardoned 110 political prisoners, including Ruben Gonzalez who has been held since November 2018. Though long overdue, the release of Sr. Gonzalez will be welcome.
more like this

answer text
We are concerned by the reports of a recent demolition of a covid-19 testing centre in Hebron. We have not to date made representations on this particular case but have repeatedly made clear to the Israeli authorities our view that demolitions, in all but the most exceptional of circumstances, are contrary to International Humanitarian Law.
more like this

answer text
The UK strongly opposes the death penalty in all countries and in all circumstances, as a matter of principle. We regularly raise our concerns about the use of the death penalty with the Bahraini authorities using a range of Ministerial and diplomatic channels. The Government of Bahrain is well aware of the UK's opposition to use of the death penalty.
more like this
