<p>The nature of our new relationship with the EU - outside the Single Market and
Customs Union - does mean that there are practical and procedural changes that businesses
need to adjust to.</p><p><strong><br></strong>We continue to work closely with sectors
across the economy and all parts of the UK to support businesses in adapting to our
new trading relationship with the EU and to continue to successfully compete on the
global stage. The Government is providing £20 million to support small and medium
businesses in adjusting to new customs, rules of origin, and VAT rules when trading
with the EU. Ministers across government have been speaking directly to hundreds of
businesses large and small across the country, including through the Business Brexit
Task Force to develop a shared vision and plan for the future.</p>
