<p>I can confirm that the Prime Minister has issued a direction to the Investigatory Powers Commissioner under section 230 of the Investigatory Powers Act 2016 to continue the statutory oversight of the Consolidated Guidance that was previously provided by the Intelligence Services Commissioner. The direction will be published shortly on the Investigatory Powers Commissioner’s Office’s website.</p>
