<p>As at 31 March 2018 there were 43,120 Civil Servants employed in locations in Scotland.</p><p>

of Civil Service Headcount by Department at NUTS3 (Nomenclature of Territorial Units
for Statistics Level 3 i.e. council areas) for the above staff. A copy of this table
has been placed in the Library.</p>
