answer text <p /> <p /> <p>The Government has contributed significantly to the development of the ‘Rethink Autism' strategy, owned by the Department of Health.</p><p>DWP is an active member of the Autism Programme Board and is working closely with colleagues from across government to address a number of key commitments that support the employment of people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions including Asperger's Syndrome and associated Hidden Impairment Conditions.</p><p>DWP is working with an extensive range of partner organisations and the Hidden Impairment National Group (HING), which the Minister has agreed to sponsor.</p> more like this

Hon. friend to the Written Answer I gave him on 2 July 2014 Official Report, col 643w.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>HSE does not apply cost-per-quality adjusted life year (QALY) thresholds. In the Regulatory Impact Assessment described in the evidence submitted by HSE to the Inter-Departmental Group for the Valuation of Life and Health review in 2008, which is published in the Library, HSE used a value of £42,000 per QALY to estimate the benefits of the intervention. These were compared against the expected costs of the intervention in order to assess the potential net benefits to society.</p> more like this

answer text <p /> <p /> <p>Since May 2010 the DWP has led the way in openness and transparency of statistical releases by publishing over 770 releases and datasets. <br> Great care is taken to get things right, and in this time the UK Statistics Authority (UKSA) has only written directly to DWP Ministers on two occasions about issues raised with it about DWP statistics. The Department has responded to these points and taken on board the UKSA suggestions.</p><p><br> DWP Statistical releases are produced and published separately to and independently from other Departmental comment or publications. <br> Great care is taken by DWP statisticians to ensure the Statistical releases are easy to read and understand, and are balanced and impartial.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

answer text <p /> <p /> <p>My Department is committed to working closely with the ILF and other Government Departments to support the work required to enable an effective transfer for ILF users by 30 June 2015.</p><p>The ILF has undertaken a dedicated programme of engagement with local authorities and the devolved administrations; and continues to engage directly with all of those authorities who will be involved in the transfer of user care and support in 2015. This includes a commitment to the Codes of Practice agreed between the ILF and English local authorities, and between the ILF and the devolved administrations.</p><p>Specific proposals for distributing the funding transferred to them in respect of former users of the Independent Living Fund living in Scotland and Wales are a matter for the Scottish and Welsh Governments.</p><p> </p> more like this
