The Department does not record or monitor the number of disabled former Remploy employees who are provided support in residential care.</p><p> </p><p>For all disabled former Remploy workers made redundant as a result of factory closures, the Government put in place the £8 million guaranteed People Help and Support Package (PHSP). answer text <p /> <p> </p><p>In response to the Sayce review recommendations, the Government committed to spending an extra £15m on Access to Work by the end of this Spending Review period and this commitment has already been delivered. In 2011/12 the Department spent £93m on Access to Work, in 2012/13 £95m and by 2013/14 this had increased to £108m.</p><p> </p><p>Separately, the Government agreed an £8 million guaranteed People Help and Support Package to provide a maximum of 18 months specialist support to help disabled people made redundant as a result of Remploy factory closures.</p> more like this

answer text <p /> <p>The Department has asked all disabled former employees made redundant from Remploy to give permission to be tracked, but can only monitor the progress and outcomes of those individuals that give permission.</p><p> </p><p>From the information available up to and including 19 September 2014, 265 former Remploy disabled employees were in receipt of Access to Work support.</p> more like this
