answer text <p>The number of men aged 65 who receive additional State Pension after a contracted-out deduction is applied, as at September 2013, is 194,900.</p><p> </p><p>The number of women aged 65 who receive additional State Pension after a contracted-out deduction is applied, as at September 2013, is 158,200.</p><p> </p><p>The number of men aged 65 who do not receive additional State Pension after a contracted-out deduction is applied, as at September 2013, is 37,700.</p><p> </p><p>The number of women aged 65 who do not receive additional State Pension after a contracted-out deduction is applied, as at September 2013, is 8,800.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The answer covers additional State Pension and the CoD from 1978-97 only, which is the period for which contracted out deductions applied.</p><p> </p><p>Source: Department for Work and Pensions, Information, Exploitation and Security Directorate, 5% sample.</p><p> </p><p>Notes:</p><ol><li>These figures have been rounded to the nearest 100.</li><li>The 5% sample data provides some detail not available from the 100% data sources.
