answer text <p>There are no direct employees or agency workers paid less than the Living Wage as defined by the Living Wage Foundation in the central Department for Transport, MCA, DVSA and VCA. In DVLA, out of a total headcount of 6032, there are 28 directly employed members of staff on apprenticeship schemes who are paid above the National Living Wage but slightly below the Living Wage as defined by the Living Wage Foundation.</p><p> </p><p>We do not hold information on the earnings of outsourced workers.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department for Transport supports employees with caring responsibilities through a range of employee policies, including part-time and flexible working, job-sharing, and special and parental leave policies. The duty to support carers is taken into consideration in the development of all employee policies in the department.</p><p> </p><p>The department has also established a Carers’ Networks in the central department and its largest agencies to provide advice, support, help with career development and informative events for carers and their managers within the department.</p><p> </p> more like this

This includes decisions on the tolling of the Tunnels in accordance with the Mersey Tunnels Act 2004. answer text <p>The European Union (Withdrawal) Bill will convert European Union law into UK law as it applies in the UK at the moment of exit. This will ensure that, wherever possible, the same rules and laws will apply the day after exit as they did before.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is still making a detailed assessment of what corrections will be required to make that law function appropriately on exit day. The Department for Exiting the European Union are working closely with departments across Government to ensure we make the changes required to deliver a functioning statute book on exit in the most efficient manner possible.</p> more like this

answer text <p>In addition to providing support to those with a disability, the original intention of the English national concessionary bus pass scheme was to help people maintain their independence in retirement. Concessions are therefore not aimed at people considered to be of working age and in April 2010 the concession was specifically aligned for both men and women to the Department for Work and Pensions’ State Pension Age.</p><p> </p><p>Local authorities have the discretion to offer concessions over and above the statutory minimum to their residents as they see fit.</p> more like this
