<p>The UK regularly co-sponsors the UN Human Rights Council resolution on the situation
of human rights in the DPRK, most recently adopted on 4 April 2023, which strongly
urges all States to respect the fundamental principle of non-refoulement. The UK actively
promotes the implementation of the 1951 UN Refugee Convention and we regularly call
on all countries to abide by the principle of non-refoulement and not forcibly return
people to countries where they face serious threats to their life or freedom.</p>
