The use of chemical weapons is prohibited by the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) and is a clear threat to international peace and security. We will continue to uphold and protect the Convention's ban on the use of chemical weapons. The Government is aware of reports that chemical weapons were used in northern Iraq. We have no direct evidence to support these claims. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2022 answer text <p>Table 1 shows UK Official Development Assistance (ODA) in the form of core contributions to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), World Health Organisation (WHO), United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), and The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, for the period 2018 to 2020. We collaborate effectively across a range of issues such as peace and security, climate change, global health and trade. This includes supporting the AU on the African Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the AU's Green Recovery Action Plan and funding £20 million to the AU's Covid-19 Response Fund. The agreement provides for unfettered humanitarian access and for the resumption of essential basic services. The humanitarian situation in Tigray remains very serious.
