<p>'Saving lives, investing in future generations and building prosperity – the UK’s
Global Nutrition Position Paper’, which was published in October 2017, committed DFID
to strengthen the breadth and quality of its nutrition-sensitive, multi-sector investments.</p><p>Since
the Paper was published, DFID has for example developed a strategic approach to integrating
nutrition into relevant areas of its economic development work. This includes supporting
private sector investment within different parts of the food system in order to make
safe nutritious foods more affordable and accessible to poor people, in particular
women, adolescent girls and children under five.</p><p> </p>
