I have requested and received assurances from our partners on their safeguarding policies and procedures. Internationally, we are leading the charge to raise standards. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/11/2016 answer text <p>DFID officials and staff of the British Embassy in Kyiv are in regular contact with the Government of Ukraine and international partners regarding assistance for internally displaced people in Ukraine. My predecessor, Sir Desmond Swayne, met the current Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced People during his visit to Ukraine in November 2015.</p><p>Since 2014, the UK has played a key role in supporting the humanitarian response in eastern Ukraine.
