answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/02/2018 answer text <p>UK officials are working closely with the UN Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) and other donors to assess how best to ensure the continuity of essential services to Palestinian refugees at this time, in line with humanitarian principles. The UK remains firmly committed to supporting UNRWA, and has so far provided around £50 million in 2017/18 based on the Agency meeting rigorous performance indicators. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/02/2018 answer text <p>The UK is providing £1.3 million to the UN’s Verification and Inspection Mechanism (UNVIM) this financial year (2017/18) to facilitate commercial shipping into Yemen’s Red Sea ports and provide assurances against weapons smuggling. We have seconded UK experts to UNVIM in Djibouti to increase the number of inspections of commercial vessels.</p><p> </p><p>Yemen imports 90% of its food and fuel, so it is essential that the Red Sea ports of Hodeidah and Saleef remain fully open to commercial and humanitarian imports to help the millions of people who don’t have enough to eat.
