answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/01/2022 answer text <p>If an individual has recently recovered from COVID-19 but is no longer infectious, they should use a lateral flow device test due to its lower sensitivity and therefore a reduced likelihood of returning a positive result from a historic infection.</p><p>While the United Kingdom does not recognise natural immunity for international travel, this is kept under review. In the past five financial years, the NIHR has not awarded new programme funding for specific research projects relating to the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). However, the NIHR has supported delivery of 53 studies relating to treatment of DMD via its Clinical Research Network (CRN). The CRN enables high-quality health and care research in England by providing additional staff, facilities, equipment and support services so that research is not subsidised with funding that has been provided for health and care treatments and service.</p><p> </p><p>The NIHR does not usually ring-fence funds for particular topics therefore funding for future years is not available. As of 21 December 2021, a total of 9.8 million first positive COVID-19 test results had been recorded in England. The weekly rates of possible reinfections per 1,000 first infections closely follow the profile for first infections.</p><p>Reinfections for the Omicron variant are published in ‘SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern and variants under investigation in England Technical briefing 33’, which reports that as of 17 December 2021, 9.5% of cases of the Omicron variant had a previous confirmed infection. Therefore data on DTOCs in each of the last six months is not available.</p><p>Monthly data on the number of DTOCs in England is not held in the format requested. NHS England and NHS Improvement’s data collection is based on the average number of people delayed per day. This is calculated by dividing the number of delayed days during the month by the number of calendar days in the month. This measure was previously known as DToC beds.
