We offer assistance to those who choose to do so by actively promoting the Home Office Voluntary Return Service. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/12/2018 answer text <p>The Home Secretary received advice from law enforcement agencies on the threat and risk to public safety from high energy rifles, including .50 calibre rifles.</p><p>At the Home Secretary’s request, we have received further advice from the National Crime Agency on whether there are alternatives to prohibition which would reduce the risk, in particular more secure storage arrangements. In light of that advice, the Home Secretary has decided that further detailed consideration is required on how best to tighten controls on high energy rifles. Their status will be recorded electronically, and the Home Office will have a permanent record of EU citizens and their family members who are living here with settled status.</p><p>Until the end of the implementation period, EU citizens can continue to prove their right to work using their EU passport or national identity card. By giving individuals direct access to their own data and the ability to share this with service providers we are giving them greater transparency, clarity and control.
