The UK has a long and proud history of providing protection to those who need it, in accordance with our international obligations. The Prime Minister has been clear that we will address the rigidities in our laws that make this country a target for those who would exploit vulnerable people in this way. We will also take advantage of leaving the EU by changing the Dublin regulation on returns.
