For multiple large scale incidents, if a fire and rescue service’s local capacity needs augmenting, there are well developed mutual aid arrangements so it can draw on resources from neighbouring fire and rescue services and across the country. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/07/2017 answer text <p>The Home Office keeps the UK’s preparedness for terrorist attack under constant review, and is delivering a £144 million programme to increase numbers of armed police officers in the UK. The first phase of the armed uplift is complete, with an additional 41 Armed Response Vehicles and around 650 armed officers trained. The number of armed response vehicles has more than doubled in London and around a quarter of the national CTSFO capability will also be based in the capital.</p><p>The Home Office also trains and equips specialist fire and ambulance teams to manage casualties in higher risk environments. These capabilities are deployable to a terrorist incident occurring anywhere in the UK, including London. In November 2015, the Government commissioned a review into the funding of Islamist extremist activity in the UK, including any overseas sources. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/07/2017 answer text <p>The Government’s policy paper (Cm 9464), which was laid before Parliament on 26 June, sets out that obtaining settled status will be subject to meeting certain requirements. The eligibility criteria will be set out in UK law, and will include a requirement for the applicant to have been resident in the UK for a set length of time and an assessment of conduct and criminality, including not being considered a threat to the UK.</p><p> </p><p>We will continue to apply rules to exclude those who are serious or persistent criminals and those whom we consider a threat to the UK. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/07/2017 answer text <p>This Government has been clear there should be no safe space online for terrorists and their supporters to radicalise, recruit, incite, or inspire. The UK has been at the forefront of the online battle against extremist and terrorist material. The dedicated police Counter Terrorism Internet Referral Unit (CTIRU) refers content that they assess as contravening UK terrorism legislation to industry and have secured the removal of over 280,000 pieces of terrorist-related material since its inception in February 2010.</p><p>This government continue to work with technology companies to encourage them to be more proactive in tackling terrorist material on the internet. Following a roundtable with the Home Secretary on 30 March 2017, Twitter, Facebook, Google and Microsoft announced they would look at options for establishing a global industry led forum specifically focussed on tackling online terrorist content. The Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism was formally launched on 26 June 2017.
