answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/10/2017 answer text <p>There are no plans to change the Building Regulations to ensure that all new buildings are constructed with solar panels. New buildings are now required to be 30 per cent more energy efficient than they were in 2010. The technologies used to meet these standards are not prescribed.
