answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/10/2015 answer text <p>The Joint Coordination and Monitoring Centre (JCMC) in Baghdad and Joint Crisis Centre (JCC) in Erbil were formally launched in July 2015. Since then, they have been meeting regularly, working closely together to plan for future humanitarian operations as well as coordinating support for those currently requiring assistance. We recognise the necessity of a cohesive, joined-up humanitarian response between the Government of Iraq and Kurdish Regional Government and have been a strong supporter of both organisations. The UK has been consistently clear with all sides to the conflict over the importance of compliance with international humanitarian law and international human rights law during this conflict. The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), spoke to Saudi Foreign Minister Al Jubeir on 29 September in the margins of the UN General Assembly, and underlined the importance the UK attaches to finding a political solution to the current crisis as soon as possible. The Quartet released a statement reaffirming its commitment to the two state solution and noting the urgency of progress towards this objective, in the context of the intensifying threat of terrorism, sectarian extremism and radicalisation in the Middle East. Amongst other things, the Quartet expressed concern at current trends, and stressed the need for significant steps on the ground, consistent with past agreements. The UK, represented by the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), attended the expanded second part of the meeting. All UK-funded aid is distributed on the basis of need to ensure civilians are not discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion or ethnicity. The UK works with the Government of Iraq, Kurdish Regional Government, UN and the international community to support the rights of all minorities and to ensure our aid reaches those in greatest need.</p><p>Humanitarian actors have started the winterisation preparations. We regularly engage with the UN and other partners to ensure that the needs of those most requiring assistance are taken into account. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/09/2015 answer text <p>There have been two recent changes to the level of the cash allowances provided to destitute asylum seekers to cover their essential living needs.</p><p>With effect from 6 April, the allowance provided to asylum seekers without dependants was raised to £36.95 per week (from £36.62).</p><p>Since 10 August a standard payment of £36.95 per week has been provided for each person in a family group (the asylum seeker and any dependants). This resulted in a reduction in the total allowance provided to asylum seekers with children. The change was made because a review of the support system showed that the allowances previously provided exceeded the amount necessary to cover essential living needs.</p><p>There are no plans to reverse either of these changes.
