<p>In local authorities with NO2 exceedances, coach and bus operators are eligible for grants from clean air funding to help with the cost of replacing or upgrading vehicles. Grants are not given retrospectively to subsidise the cost of a vehicle that has already been purchased as this would not represent a good use of public funds.</p>
