Pension Age Tax Credit customers will be asked to move to either Universal Credit or Pension Credit depending on their circumstances. We are committed to ensuring that the transition to Universal Credit or Pension Credit works as smoothly as possible for all individuals. We will bring forward legislation which ensures that pensioner households who move to Universal Credit or Pension Credit will receive Transitional Protection where applicable.
