<p>The Youth Custody Service commissioned the Covid-19 Research and Evaluation Programme in May 2020 in order to enable learning from the experiences of dealing with Covid-19 to improve youth custody in the long-term. It is being undertaken by HMPPS YCS Psychology Services with independent direction by Professor Neal Hazel. It is envisaged that the final reports be will available in the summer.</p>
