answer text <p>WFP estimate that 114,000 people in Chimanimani will need urgent food assistance as a direct result of the cyclone. The UK is the largest donor to the Cyclone Idai response having made up to £22 million available. In Zimbabwe we are funding essential health supplies, hygiene kits and child protection support. The UK will continue to monitor the situation very closely and stands ready to provide further assistance if needed.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Preventing ill health is the best way to improve life expectancy and our ambition is to give everyone five more healthy, independent years of life by 2035 whilst narrowing the gap between the experience of the richest and poorest. We are already taking action to reduce inequalities in smoking, child obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease and to improve uptake of cancer screening. Later this year we will publish a Prevention Green Paper which will set out cross-Government plans for prevention in greater detail.</p><p> </p><p>The NHS Long Term Plan sets out new, funded, action the NHS will take to strengthen its contribution to prevention and health inequalities.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England will base its five-year funding allocations to local areas on more accurate assessment of health inequalities and unmet need. As a condition of receiving Long Term Plan funding, all major national programmes and every local area across England will be required to set out specific measurable goals and mechanisms by which they will contribute to narrowing health inequalities over the next five and 10 years.</p>

NHS Improvement primarily collects feedback via their online survey. However they also receive and consider letters from stakeholders and representative bodies. When the feedback comes in, NHS Improvement treats them all the same regardless of who it comes from.</p><p> </p><p>Once all the feedback has been considered by NHS Improvement’s subject matter leads, the joint pricing governance process and boards of NHS Improvement and NHE England decide if any changes should be made.</p><p> </p><p>NHS Improvement does not respond individually to the feedback it receives, as to do so would take an excessive amount of time and resource.</p><p> </p><p>NHS Improvement is considering whether it would be desirable to publish the survey feedback they have received as part of the consultation.</p> more like this
