answer text <p>There is no plan for any such assessment, the purpose of the Child Maintenance Service is to facilitate the payment of child maintenance between separated parents.</p><p> </p><p>No one should use the pandemic as an excuse to avoid their child maintenance payments. Where paying parents experience a change in income, we can review their case and check if the amount paid should change. If it does not, they should continue to make payments.</p><p>We know the majority of parents take their responsibilities extremely seriously and will do what is needed to ensure their children are supported.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We increased Local Housing Allowance rates to the 30<sup>th</sup> percentile of local rents, providing additional financial support for private renters, further to lobbying from homeless charities. This significant investment of almost £1 billion, ensures over 1 million households will see an increase, on average, of £600 per year.</p><p> </p><p>For renters whose circumstances mean they may require more support, Discretionary Housing Payments are also available. We have already provided £180m in Discretionary Housing Payment funding to local authorities to support vulnerable claimants with housing costs in the private and social rented sector in England and Wales for 2020/21. answer text <p>Slough Jobcentre plus has continued to support the local community during the Covid-19 outbreak. This includes working with partner and provider organisations such as the National Careers Service to host virtual job fairs, promote traineeships, support the development of skills, and actively promote vacancies. These sites promote a range of guidance and advice supporting decisions on identifying transferrable skills, promoting opportunities of seeking alternative roles or working in different sectors of the economy. Find a Job is a central place for employers to post their vacancies and for job seekers to look for work.</p>
