answer text <p>The apprenticeship levy will enable us to fund the step change needed to achieve 3 million quality apprenticeship starts in England by 2020, providing more opportunities for people of all ages to begin or further develop their careers.</p><p> </p><p>As an employer-led programme, employers must be able to make decisions on recruitment to meet their skills needs.</p><p> </p><p>To ensure young people have access to apprenticeships we are providing £1,000 to both employers and training providers when they take on 16 to 18 year olds or 19 to 24 year olds who were in care or who have an Education and Health Care Plan.</p><p> </p><p>To support and grow apprenticeships amongst smaller employers who do not pay the levy, we are providing generous co-investment support and extending this to 100% support for the smallest employers taking on younger apprentices.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Following the terrorist attacks in Manchester significant mental health provision was mobilised to support survivors, their families, and First Responders. The Government is working with Manchester to ensure that everyone who needs psychosocial support or psychological help will get it.</p><p> </p><p>Statutory National Health Service mental health services are currently working alongside the third sector to provide survivors with mental health support and treatment. We will continue to liaise on the need for further support.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has provided further funding to third sector organisations to bolster mental health provision and the Department continues to work with colleagues across government via the Victims of Terrorist Unit to support recovery efforts and to understand the mental health needs of those affected.</p> more like this

answer text <p>This information is not held centrally, but public sector buyers are required to publish annually on their payment performance.</p><p>Central government departments are required to pay 80% of undisputed and valid invoices within 5 days, with the remainder paid within 30 days. Government departments publish performance against these targets on a quarterly basis on GOV.UK.</p><p>Data published in 2015-16 shows that by the final quarter all major departments, apart from one (at 76%), were meeting their 5 days target and that all departments were paying at least 96% of their invoices within the 30 day target, with several departments achieving 100%.</p> more like this
