answer text <p> </p><p>Information on expenditure on mental health is not collected centrally. There is, in addition, no single budget for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) since these are commissioned by clinical commissioning groups (CCGs), NHS England, local authorities (LAs) and by schools and comprise many different services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>NHS England only holds the budget for directly commissioned services and does not collect the data for services commissioned by CCGs and LAs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>NHS England has recently undertaken a data collection exercise on the CAMHS services it directly commissions to clarify the level of planned spend for 2014/15, within the individual Mental Health contracts. This data is still being validated and therefore a definitive figure is not available at this stage, however, the figures indicate that the planned spend is in the region of £260 million.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p><p>In addition, the NHS England Children and Young People’s Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Transformation programme of existing Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services is supporting services to deliver evidence based, outcomes focussed user-led services. Its budget is approximately £17 million for 2014-15.</p><p> </p>

MBCT is available through a number of Improving Access to Psychological Therapy services in England.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Health Education England (HEE) supports the delivery of excellent healthcare and health improvement to the patients and public of England, by ensuring that our workforce has the right numbers, skills, values and behaviours. The Government has mandated HEE to provide national leadership on education, training and workforce development in the NHS.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>HEE has established a Mental Health Advisory Group to promote and enhance mental health training across the professions and provide strategic professional advice and expertise to HEE around its work on workforce planning and education development for mental health. Membership representation of this group includes; healthcare, social care, third sectors and professional bodies. HEE have been advised of the article Mindfulness in Clinician Therapeutic Relationships and to consider it in terms of workforce planning.</p><p> </p>

answer text <p>In April 2013, NHS England became responsible for commissioning specialised Eating Disorder Services. There are currently 460 beds available across England. 255 of these beds are provided by the National Health Service and the remainder by the Independent sector. Therefore 55.4% are provided by the NHS. Historical figures are not available as this data is maintained as a real-time list.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>NHS England does not hold data on services commissioned by clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) which include non-specialised and community eating disorder services. CCG’s commissioning decisions are based on the needs of the local population and they are expected to take account of National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>We have made no such estimate.</p><p> </p><p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has appraised bivalirudin in combination with aspirin and clopidogrel and recommends the drug as a possible treatment for adults with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction undergoing primary percutaneous coronary intervention in guidance issued in July 2011.</p><p> </p><p>Patients have the right to drugs and treatments that have been recommended by NICE technology appraisal guidance for use in the National Health Service, where their doctor believes they are clinically appropriate.</p><p> </p> more like this
