They are an opportunity to celebrate the relationships between the UK and other countries.</p><p>Coming so soon after the unjustified and incendiary remarks made about the UK by the Mauritian Prime Minister at the United Nations General Assembly, it would not have been appropriate to have held one this year. A decision to cancel Her Majesty The Queen's Birthday Party was taken at Ministerial level.</p><p>We have no doubt about our sovereignty over British Indian Ocean Territory, which has been under continuous British sovereignty since 1814. We have made a long-standing commitment to cede sovereignty of the territory to Mauritius when it is no longer required for defence purposes. The SDGs are embedded in the UK Aid Strategy and DFID’s Single Departmental Plan which is now modelled around the 5Ps of People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnerships.</p><p> </p><p>The first Voluntary National Review (VNR) of UK progress towards the SDGs, published in June and presented to the UN in July, highlights the range of activities the Government and a wide variety of partners are undertaking to deliver the Goals at home and abroad. In preparing the Review, the Government participated in 35 engagement events, consulted over 350 organisations and received 270 case studies. The Government has also sought the views of over 6,000 members of the public on investing in the SDGs.</p><p> </p><p>The UK’s support for international development is our major contribution to delivering the Goals abroad and entails close cooperation and coordination with other bilateral partners and numerous multilateral organisations. Activities include support for health and education, peace and security and climate action.</p><p> </p><p>There is still more to be done. We have welcomed Houthi redeployments as a crucial first step in the plan to implement the Hodeidah Agreement as well as the parties’ agreement on the Concept of Operations for Phase 1 and 2 of the mutual redeployments. Further UN-led negotiations between the parties are needed to agree local security force arrangements before redeployment can take place and we encourage all parties to continue to constructively engage with the UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths and General Lollesgaard on this matter. Implementation of the Hodeidah Agreement is part of critical step moving towards the broader peace process. British officials are also in regular contact with key Yemeni and regional figures in support of UN efforts. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/07/2019 answer text <p>​The UK has had a public register of company beneficial ownership since 2016 and the Government is spearheading an international campaign that seeks to make public registers the global norm by 2023, working with our international partners.</p><p>The Crown Dependencies recently committed to implement their own publicly accessible registers of company beneficial ownership in line with EU norms and Gibraltar has passed legislation which will allow it to introduce publically accessible registers.</p><p>The other Overseas Territory (OTs) Governments are working together, and with the UK Government, to ensure they remain in step with international standards on transparency. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/08/2019 answer text <p>The British Government has worked very closely with all the British Overseas Territories (OTs) to surface their concerns and interests in relation to EU Exit since the referendum. Given Saint Helena's association with the EU through the 2013 Overseas Association Decision (OAD), it currently benefits from non-reciprocal tariff-free quota-free access to the EU's goods market. In a no-deal scenario, Saint Helena may lose this preferential access.</p><p>We continue to support all the territories so that their businesses are prepared to trade with the EU, if necessary, as a non-EU associated territory.
