<p>British Embassy staff and seconded officials from other Government Departments, including the Home Office, have frequently visited the Greek islands most affected by migration to assess conditions in the camps since the EU/Turkey statement was agreed in March 2016. The most recent visit to Samos was on 21 November 2018 and the most recent visit to Lesvos was on 6 December 2018.</p>
