<p>Officials at the British Embassy in Yangon are in regular contact with Ms Bowman to check on her welfare and continue to maintain consular access. We are monitoring Ms Bowman's situation closely and will continue to support her, and her family, until the case is resolved. We will always act in the way that we judge is most appropriate in the case and in the best interests of Ms Bowman.</p>
