At the 55th Human Rights Council, we issued a statement highlighting the scale and severity of freedom of religion or belief abuses globally, including against Baha'is in Iran. We co-sponsored the Iran Human Rights Resolution at UNGA 78, which called on Iran to eliminate, in law and practice, all forms of discrimination, on the basis of religion or belief. These extreme conditions are affecting the geographical distribution of infectious diseases, with climate suitability for dengue transmission reaching its highest level in recent years. We will build on this action by enhancing our power to sanction individual vessels under the Russia sanctions regime. We regularly discuss our concerns about the deteriorating security situation in the camps with the Government of Bangladesh and often engage with the UN and NGOs. UK humanitarian funding of over £391 million since 2017 includes ongoing support to protection services. We are aware of the Fortify Rights report published on 26 April. We will continue to use our role at the UN Security Council to maintain a spotlight on Myanmar, including the treatment of the Rohingya, the need for unhindered humanitarian access and for the root causes of the conflict in Rakhine State to be addressed. The UK supports efforts to strengthen accountability in Myanmar. The training is also available to other interested civil servants. In addition to this online training module, FoRB is incorporated within FCDO's broader human rights training programme, a 2-3 day course delivered in the UK and overseas. In 2023, with the support of the PM's Special Envoy for Freedom of Religion or Belief, two sessions on FoRB were delivered as part of a human rights seminar series open to all staff. We are monitoring the situation closely. UK officials in Dhaka continue to engage with the Government of Bangladesh and the United Nations on this issue. We will continue to support affected Rohingya and other communities in Rakhine and Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. The UK is a leading donor to the Rohingya response. On 19 January, I raised the need for inclusivity in the upcoming elections with Pakistan's Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani.  On 25 September 2023, the former Foreign Secretary raised the importance of credible, inclusive and timely elections with Pakistan's Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-haq Kakar. On 21 August, I wrote to Foreign Minister Jilani to raise concerns about the treatment of minority religious communities and underline the need to ensure all Pakistan's citizens are able to exercise their democratic rights.
