<p>While we have not made an assessment on the report in question, we have been clear
that both Israel and the Palestinian Authority must demonstrate through their policies
a genuine commitment to the two-state solution. They should do all they can to reverse
the negative trends – including systematic settlement expansion and demolitions in
the West Bank. We want to see a contiguous West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as
part of a viable and sovereign Palestinian state, based on 1967 borders.</p>
