answer text <p>The Government is rebuilding, rebalancing and growing the economy to ensure that all university leavers in all parts of the country are given the opportunity to achieve their potential.</p><p>The economic plan is working, with over two million more private sector jobs and 400,000 more businesses.</p><p>To enable students to take advantage of these opportunities we are increasing the information available to them through the Key Information Set. This provides comparable information on over 37,000 undergraduate courses at universities and colleges across the country.</p><p>Our Graduate Talent Pool programme has played a valuable role in stimulating the UK graduate internship market, helping graduates to gain relevant work experience and improving their employment prospects.</p><p>Latest data, from the Destinations of Leavers of Higher Education survey, show that these policies are working. 88% of full-time first degree leavers who graduated from UK universities in 2012/13 were in employment or further study 6 months after graduation.</p>

answer text <p> </p><p>This Government has sold £160 million of mortgage-style student loans on the condition that no terms of the loans can be changed. This follows the previous government’s record of selling £2 billion of mortgage-style student loans. At Autumn Statement 2013 the government committed to selling the pre-Browne Income Contingent Student Loan Book in a number of tranches, with a first sale intended to occur by the end of financial year 2015/16. answer text <p>The Government announced an increase of 3.34% to maximum maintenance loans for the 2015/16 academic year earlier this year. This increase will apply to all rates of maintenance loan, including the higher rate loan for students living away from home and studying in London, where living costs (including those for accommodation) are generally higher.</p><p>Decisions on student support arrangements for higher education courses are taken on an annual basis. The Government will review student support arrangements for the 2016/17 academic year in 2015.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK became an observer member of the SESAME Interim Council in 2001. Professor Samar Hasnain of Liverpool University has represented the UK Government at the SESAME Council, following his appointment in 2004. The Government has provided funding since 2008/9 to Professor Samar Hasnain to support his role as the UK’s representative on the SESAME council as follows:</p><p>- 2008/9 – 2013/14: £15k per annum</p><p>- Additional funding of £22k per annum was recently approved following a review of the project for the financial years 2014/15 – 2015/16</p><p>Professor Samar Hasnain in his role as an observer undertakes various activities on behalf of the Government for the progress of SESAME including:</p><p>- Representing the Government at the Interim Council meetings</p><p>- Producing an annual report on SESAME and its benefits to the UK; and</p><p>- Spreading awareness of the existence and desirability of SESAME to existing and potential SESAME member countries.</p><p>He is also an active member of the Science Advisory Committee which meets twice a year.</p><p>This Department does not currently fund any other collaborative scientific research projects between Israel, Iran and the Palestinian Authority.</p>

answer text <p>The tables below provide a breakdown of the value of Regional Growth Fund (RGF) by region and round for RGF applications; the committed allocation of RGF to projects and programmes following due diligence. This data excludes those projects and programmes that have withdrawn. The third table sets out the amount drawn down by operational RGF awards to date and the financial years in which the remaining RGF and eRGF is committed through to 31<sup>st</sup> March 2017.
