In total, we have provided £2.4 billion in COVID Corporate Financing Facility support to the automotive sector.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has invested around £1.5 billon to support the research, development, and manufacture of zero and low-emission vehicles to date. This investment has created thousands of jobs in the sector and its supply chain, saved millions of tonnes of CO2, and has helped the UK to lead the charge towards a low carbon automotive future.</p><p> </p><p>In late 2020, my Rt. Hon. Friend the Prime Minister announced in his 10 Point Plan nearly £500 million of funding for the Automotive Transformation Fund over the next four years to develop and embed the next generation of cutting-edge automotive technologies in the UK. This is part of a £2.8 billion package of measures to support industry and consumers to make the switch to cleaner vehicles. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/04/2021 answer text <p>The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has determined that those with severe mental illnesses (SMI) are within cohort 6 for the vaccine rollout, and we are encouraging General Practitioners (GPs) to take a similar approach for this group of people to that being proposed for people with learning disabilities, working in partnership with secondary care mental health services and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise partners to ensure appropriate outreach mechanisms are in place.</p><p>People with SMI (including people who are severely unwell with an eating disorder, who have a high or low body mass index) and their carers should receive an invitation from their GP to get their COVID-19 vaccine. This might be by letter, text message or phone, or a combination of all three. If someone is unsure if they have an SMI which falls within the official definition above, they are encouraged to contact their GP, or mental health team. This includes bespoke communications materials shared on the CARE Workforce App; a weekly newsletter and via social media channels; a paid advertising campaign targeting social care workers with digital advertising to build vaccine confidence and encourage booking vaccine appointments; a stakeholder toolkit with resources for distribution by care providers and representative bodies; and positive messaging using influencers, health experts, faith leaders and social care workers who have already been vaccinated to boost confidence and tackle misinformation.
