As with other vaccination programmes, vaccine record cards are issued to patients with the relevant details about the vaccine including the date of their vaccination and their vaccine type. This sensible step ensures that, in the very rare circumstance where someone is severely disabled as a result of taking the vaccine, those individuals can access financial assistance.
