answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/02/2021 answer text <p>The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) advised that the priority for the current COVID-19 vaccination programme should be the prevention of COVID-19 mortality and the protection of health and social care staff and systems.</p><p> </p><p>The Government will set out plans for phase two of the vaccination programme in due course, based on further advice from the JCVI. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/12/2020 answer text <p>The careful and accurate recording of vaccination status is incredibly important both in terms of ensuring priority cohorts are offered the two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination, and to ensure robust surveillance systems are in place to support patient safety.</p><p>The National Health Service’s National Immunisation Management System (NIMS) will be used as the national register of COVID-19 vaccinations.
